The 'blurb' for 'How to Look Like You':
Have you ever had a frenemy? Someone you smile at sweetly but secretly you are filled with jealousy? Meet Chloe and Ella.
While Chloe sees herself as dowdy, quiet and going nowhere, Ella is brimming with talents: acting, singing, and outward-sitting, bronzed boobs.
Yet, Ella envies Chloe’s steady relationship with Aidan, her stick-thin figure and her perfectly poised style. As a result, Ella feels overweight, over-single and over-the-hill.

As Ella begins to work alongside Aidan, she develops feelings she shouldn’t have. When he invites her to join his band, it’s no surprise Chloe reacts by slamming the door off the handle.
Then Chloe begins a strategy of her own: Operation Simon. If she starts to go out more often with the bloke from work, surely Aidan would take notice?
Will Aidan smell Simon’s advances? Will Chloe and Aidan’s shared plans go ahead?

Will Ella become a friend or an enemy?

Here are reviews for "The Break-Up Test"

Are you a CHLOE or an ELLA?

Following the release of my second novel "How to Look Like You", I'd like to ask, are you a Chloe or an Ella?

Chloe is a size 8 blonde who dresses immaculately and never has a hair out of place. She is living with the gorgeous Aidan and they can often be seen trotting along with their puppy in tow. But all is not as perfect as it seems.  Chloe has a horrible bite at her heels, telling her that all good things come to an end and nothing lasts forever.

It doesn't help that her gorgeous boyfriend Aidan has started working alongside bubbly Ella.  Ella is confident, charismatic and outgoing.  She is a wannabe actress with an infectious personality.  She also gets on far too well with Aidan.

Ella though, is not as confident as she appears.  She is in her thirties, single and is making do with a casual 'companion' Robb. She envies Chloe's solid relationship with Aidan.

Chloe would do anything to protect her relationship with Aidan. Which is why she begins 'operation Simon'.  Perhaps if she spends more time on nights out with Simon and the work crowd, Aidan will sit up and notice?

Ella meanwhile, is over-joyed when Aidan asks her to be the singer in her band. She can't believe how grumpy Chloe can be with him at times.  Perhaps that's where she's going wrong? Perhaps blokes like that? All kiss and make-up? All feisty and dramatic?

"If you love Marian Keyes, you'll love this!"

"Honestly one of the best books I've read. It's amazing!" 5/5

"By far the best book I have read this year!" 10/10

Praise for "The Break-Up Test" "What I liked about this book was that it wasn't sickly sweet. Some chick lit can ooze a bit on the gushiness but McClelland just told it like it is which made it slightly different to most chick lit books."  "...each chapter left me wanting to read the next one, and the next one, and the next one..." "I zipped through this book in a day....it was one of those dark days and the book lifted my soul and renewed my faith." "Rose McClelland's voice reads like the younger sister of Marian Keyes with a more streetwise but vulnerable edge." "If you like fast paced, unpredictable books with lots of interesting characters, this is the book for you."
